RMG beacons Bands Reflector Survey

The Roadrunners Microwave Group (RMG) is organized to promote operation on the amateur bands above 420 MHz. The Group is generally comprised of microwave enthusiasts in South Texas but membership is not restricted by geography. Increasing activity on the bands above 420 MHz within any geographical area, or among such areas, requires the involvement of myriad amateur radio operators, and this group is to provide a focal point for such an effort. RMG has a "band of emphasis" program to encourage members to become active on bands they do not currently operate. The current RMG "band of emphasis" would be 902MHz except we voted to help those folks not already on 13cm, 3cm and 9cm to become operational there (the first three "bands of emphasis" we have had since forming the organization in mid-1999); activity levels have increased significantly on these bands! Informally, many are moving on to 902MHz, even as RMG as an organization dedicates itself to "elmering" folks on the first three bands.
