*This beacon is very temperature sensitive.   When cold, it has been heard as high as 1296.290; when hot, it has been heard as low as 1296.222.

The San Antonio beacons are being reprogrammed with K5HY callsign since N5GO is SK. We are looking for a suitable location at which to install these beacons in the San Atnonio area.

Most of the Austin area beacons are down for upgrade and reinstallation. They will be restored to operation as quickly as possible.

The following are links to sites showing lists of beacons on frequencies above 222MHz. Some sites are for areas outside of CONUS, but the goal here is to become a "clearing house" for information regarding Amateur Radio Microwave Operations. New links will be added as they are discovered. Use your browser "Back" button to return to this page.

The following are links to sites showing lists to propagation information. Much of the information is directed, for the greater part, toward much lower frequencies than those on which we focus here, but there may be some correllations to be identified between some of these factors and propagation above 900 MHz!
