Meeting: The July meeting of the Roadrunners Microwave Group will be held at the
Grist Mill in New Braunfels. We'll start pre-meeting social (lunch) at 1130L. Even if you're not going
to do lunch ("do" - THERE'S a "yuppy" term!), come have a glass o' tea and join in the always present
discussions on how we're going to save the world!! If you are simply determined to be anti-social, the
formal meeting won't begin prior to 1230L.
Specific location within the Grist Mill is TBD (To Be Determined); watch this space for details which will
appear as they become available.
The Gristmill is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River in Gruene Historic District, in New Braunfels,
Texas. Gruene is located in the Texas Hill Country, 30 minutes north of San Antonio, and 45 minutes south of
Austin, on IH-35.
To reach the Gristmill from IH-35:
Take Exit 191, head west on FM 306 1.5 miles to Hunter Road. Turn left on Hunter Road -- we are about a half
mile up the way. When you end up directly in front of Gruene Hall and The Gristmill, you'll know you've made
it! The entrance is in the shadow of the water tower when the sun is in the north-northwest.
