From October through May we operate as K0MHC/RV across the US checking out potential retirement sites. Both 6 and 2 meters SSB as well as HF SSB/PSK are on board the RV to stay in touch. During the summer months we operate from our MN lake cabin as K0MHC/Portable in EN26ha. I hope to find some time to continue rover operations as they are very rewarding. The project for this summer (2003) is to get back on the air from MN. We're been involved in a major tower project and reconfiguration of the antennas. Listen for us on the bands during the VHF and UHF contests.

From June through September I operate from EN-26ha. This now "permanent" site was our family get away since 1976. A recent addition has been a 2nd tower that can see over the immediate ridge and trees for UHF operation. I usually operate the September VHF/UHF contest with the Northern Lights Radio Society and VHF during the June field day with the local Runestone Radio Club. The aurora propagation is just GREAT from up here!

I started as an HFer in 1957 with some 2 meter experience in the 60s. I've Been Moved around the county too often to be able to keep active every year. Now that we're "planted" here in Austin, I hope to catch up on what I've been missing all these years. Microwave is the most recent horizon for expoloration although I have a lot of antenna work to complete on most bands.

We're looking forward to providing all of you QSOs from many new grid squares across the country.
