Contact me for openings (landline 936-336-5997) or meteor scatter (MS) schedules (e-mail Matt, W3UUM). We have recently moved. Our new QTH is located in Liberty county, Maidenhead grid location: EL29pw. the "antenna farm" has shaped up nicely as has the shack. We had an 8-month old before the move; he has grown like the preverbial weed. His name is Trevor, and he's a natural Ham; click here to check him out at the old operating position, here to check him out as he helps me get started at the new QTH, and here to check him out with a couple of final antenna jobs and at the completed operating positions!

Here's a picture of the shack. I'm sitting there with Trevor making believe it was really that neat and orderly all the time. Pay no attention to the "DC Bands" equipment cluttering the view of the REAL radio gear! NOTE:I am interested in most modes of weak signal transmitting and am active on meteor scatter via ssb or WSJT. I have recently become active via 2 meter EME ( moonrise and moonset only for now ) via cw or JT44. During Tropo openings, all modes are employed on all bands. All skeds welcomed!!

As of 25 December 2002, I am active on the following:
Band (MHz) Antenna Xmt Pwr (Watts)
50 9 el at 60 ft 800
144 24 el at 65 ft 1500
222 16 el at 42 ft 100
432 2 x 28 el at 70 ft 100
1296 2 X 45 el at 75 ft 10

NOTE: Antennas and power levels changes at the whims of Mother Nature and with the contents of the cookie jar!!

Here are pictures of the antenna stacks (pay no attention to the funny looking "DC Bands" antenna partially blocking the view of the REAL antennas......). The closer views are corresponding to the tower in the respective positions on the main photo:
